For Petitioner : Mr.M.Saravanan For Respondents : Mr.SS.Madhavan Government Advocate (Crl.side) O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No.76 of 2023 from the file of the respondent No.4 police to any other competent Officer.
2.It is submitted by the learned counsel that the petitioner has filed a complaint before the respondent No.4 police that his son is missing, basing on which a case in Crime No.76 of 2023 has been registered and in spite of the registration of the FIR, the investigation is not being done properly. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the investigation is under progress and the police found the place, where the mobile phone of the petitioner was active, which is a remote railway station and subsequently, it was switched off.

4.Considering the circumstances and on hearing the learned counsel on either side, the respondent No.3 police is directed to supervise the investigation in Crime No.76 of 2023 on the file of the respondent No.4 police and the respondent No.4 police are directed to expedite the investigation to track the missing son of the petitioner.
