ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to issue the non-traceable certificate to the petitioner in respect of the original sale deed bearing Document No.1303/1978 on the file of the Melapalayam Sub Registrar, Document No.2887/2005, Document No.3298/2020 on the file of the Pettai Sub Registrar, Document No.2249/2014 on the file of the Radhapuram Sub-Registrar, Document No.1345/2009 and Document No.7624/2009 on the file of the Radhapuram Sub-Registrar.
2.It is submitted by learned counsel that the petitioner has lost the original documents bearing Doc.Nos.1303/1978, 2887/2005, 3298/2020, 2249/2014, 1345/2009 and 7624/2009, on which in order to get a photocopy of the documents from the concerned Sub Registrar Office, the petitioner has filed an 2/5
application dated 18.05.2023 before the respondent Police to issue the non traceable certificate and the said petition is pending. 3.Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that incase, if the petitioner is directed to appear before the police concerned, the police will dispose of this application and provide necessary certificate after following the requirements in respect of issuance of non-traceable certificate as directed in the guidelines issued by the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai-4, dated 01.04.2022.
4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to appear before the concerned police and complete the formalities, on which, the respondent police are directed to issue necessary directions as expeditiously as possible. No costs.
