ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.] This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the 5th respondent based on the representation dated 22.07.2024 by cancelling the quarrying permit if any given to the 5th respondent and to pass an order declaring that no quarrying permit will be given to anybody in future in the said village and also to direct the 5th respondent to fill up the pits dug by him in the land in Survey No.158 of Vembankudi Village, Sivagangai Taluk within the specified time limit as fixed by this Court.
2.Today (23.04.2025), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, by producing the proceedings of the Deputy Director of Mines and Minerals, Sivagangai District dated 04.07.2025, would submit that license has been granted to the 5th respondent.
3.In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the license before the appropriate authority by raising all the objections in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
