This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the Charge sheet in C.C.No.159 of 2017 pending on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Kovilpatti.

2. Heard Mr.S.Alagusundar, the Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, the Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent. This Court has perused the case file.

3. The Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submits that trial commenced in C.C.No.159 of 2017 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Kovilpatti and the case is posted to 29.11.2023 for examination of further prosecution side witness.

4. The Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid fact.
