Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to include newly acquired Kabarsthan property in Survey No.347/2B of 2.47 acres in Waqf Proforma of Mohaideen Andavar Jumma Mosque, Melur (Registered under GS 204/MDU) by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 06.06.2025.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

2. It is submitted that the competent authority for this issue is the Chief Executive Officer of the Waqf, to whom the petitioner has also addressed the communication along with other respondents on 06.06.2025.

3. It is noticed that the petitioner was the Secretary of Mohaideen Andavar Periya Pallivasal Mosque, Melur, who claims to have purchased three properties in three separate sale deeds on 2022 and 2025 totally measuring to an 2/5

extent of 2.47 Acres in Melur. Therefore, the petitioner has sent a representation on 06.06.2025 to include the above said properties in the Waqf proforma. Since no adverse orders have been passed, I am inclined to suo-motu implead the Chief Executive Officer, No.1, Jaffar Syrang Street, Vallal Seethakathi Nagar, Chennai - 600 001 as the fourth respondent in this Writ Petition.

4. The fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.06.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 09.07.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Indu 3/5
