O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The prayer in the Habeas Corpus Petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's daughter namely, Yuvanjalin Ebaneser, aged about 22 years before this Court and set her at liberty.
2.The petitioner would state that he is running a welding workshop in his village and he is having three daughters and the detenue is the elder daughter. He would further state that the detenue was studying 4th year B.SC., (Nursing) at Ilayankudi in Tirunelveli District, however, he is found missing from 30.11.2020. Despite search, she could not be found out. Hence, a complaint was given to the respondent police on 01.12.2020. Since no favourable https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P.(MD) No.1187 of 2020 action has been taken, the petitioner has come up with this habeas corpus petition.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioner as well as the detenue appeared before this Court through video conferencing from the Public Prosecutor's Office. On enquiry, the detenue would state that she had gone to Chennai to secure job and she has returned back to her home yesterday. The said statement of the detenue has not been disputed by the petitioner. 4.In the light of the above fact, we are of the opinion that no further order is necessary in this habeas corpus petition and hence, the same is closed.
