O R D E R

(Order of this Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J.) Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank, sought a direction to the District Collector, Thoothukudi, to pass orders on the application, dated 20.04.2015, filed under Section 14 of Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, which is pending, within a reasonable time.

2. Considering the limited prayer sought for, Mr.M.Alagadevan, learned Special Government Pleader, is put on notice. He submitted that the said application would be disposed of, within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Placing on record the above-said submission, the District Collector, Thoothukudi, is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner, dated 20.04.2015, filed under Section 14 of Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
