For Petitioner : Mr.S.Rameshkumar For Respondents : Mr.SS.Madhavan Government Advocate (Crl.side) O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No.71 of 2023 dated 27.06.2023 from the file of the respondent No.3 police to the file of respondent No.2 police. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on a complaint given by the petitioner that his wife is missing, the police have registered a case in Crime No.71 of 2023 under the caption 'woman missing' on 27.06.2023. It is further submitted that subsequent to that, there is no substantial investigation even after the petitioner has given some information about the culprit in this case.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that the police have progressed substantially in this case and they could trace the victim girl at Thiruppur and the victim stated to have informed to her nephew, 2/5

who is residing in Bangalore and also to her uncle, who is residing at Chinnaselam that she is no more interested to continue her relationship with the petitioner.

4.Since the investigation seems to be proceeding in proper lines, the request of the petitioner to transfer the investigation cannot be considered at this stage. However, the respondent police are directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.71 of 2023 as fast as possible.
