ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to survey his property situated in Survey No.21/1, Block No.20, Kailasanathapuram, Adiyambalpuram, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, by considering his online application dated 09.06.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.N.Balasubramanian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final
disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.According to the petitioner, the subject property was settled in favour of the petitioner by his brother, Mohamed Sharuk, under a registered settlement deed dated 16.06.2021. Subsequently, patta was also issued in the name of the petitioner, as per the order passed by the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Pudhukottai, dated 14.10.2023. The petitioner submitted an online application on 09.06.2025 in Application No. 2025/0178/21/00075, seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court. 5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit the application of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 09.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of
receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
