PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus direct the respondents to dispose of the Petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2024, within a reasonable time to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to dispose of her representation, dated 02.12.2024, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, the subject properties were originally belonged to the petitioner's great-grandfather Palaniyandi Naickar. Now the revenue documents for the subject property stand in the name of the legal heirs of his two sons namely, Sanjeevi and Rengarasu. The petitioner is a granddaughter of Palaniyandi Naickar another son Marimuthu. The name of the petitioner and her brother Krishnan have not been included in the revenue records. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 02.12.2024, seeking inclusion of their name in the revenue records and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents based on the written instruction of the fourth respondent would submit that already necessary proposals have been sent to the second respondent for inclusion of their name in the revenue records. The said statement made by the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded. 2/4

4.In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner, dated 02.12.2024, in the light of the proposals submitted by the fourth respondent and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the legal heirs of the above mentioned Sanjeevi and Renjarasu. 5.With the above said direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
