ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his application, dated 04.12.2019, seeking grant of computerised patta in respect of the property situated in S.F.No.106/1 an extent of 0.88.00 cents in Alanthur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Jayavel, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that the subject property was assigned in favour of petitioner on 26.04.1984 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. However, the revenue records have not been mutated in his

favour. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 04.12.2019, seeking issuance of computerized patta. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

It is seen from the typed set of papers, based on the representation submitted by the petitioner, the first respondent already called for report from the second respondent in his proceedings in O.Mu.No.A1/4645/2019, dated 04.12.2019. Thereafter, there is no progress in the matter. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

6. The The Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

7. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.12.2019 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

8.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
