Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.SHAAZIM SHAGAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.R.SURESH KUMAR, Government Advocate (Crl. side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl.OP(MD) No.17782 of 2023 dated 06.10.2022, in which, this Court has directed the petitioners 1/3
to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners being residents and natives of Chennai, they could not arrange two solvent sureties for each of the petitioners as directed by this Court. Therefore, he seeks modification as common sureties.
3.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioners are directed to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with two common sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate.
