ORDER

The petitioner, a Block Development Officer, suffered an order of punishment, against which, he has preferred an appeal before the respondent. The petitioner, with a grievance that in view of the pendency of the appeal proceedings, he lost his promotion, filed a writ petition before this Court in W.P.(MD)No.35063 of 2025.

2. This Court, while disposing of the writ petition on 05.12.2025, directed the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of four months.

3. Now, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition complaining that the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD)No.35063 of 2025 dated 05.12.2025 has not been complied with.

4. Today, the learned Government Advocate (Civil side) appearing for the respondent submits that the entire proceeding is over and they need three more weeks for concluding the appeal preferred by the petitioner.

5. Recording the said submission, this Contempt Petition is closed.
