This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to grant approval for the appointment of the petitioner in the sanctioned post of B.T.Assistant (English) at St. Francis Higher Secondary School, Vavarai, from the date of joining i.e., on 02.06.2014, with all retrospective and consequential benefits.

2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a representation, dated 09.11.2020, to the respondents, requesting them to grant approval for the appointment of the petitioner in the sanctioned post of B.T.Assistant (English) at St. Francis Higher Secondary School, Vavarai, from the date of joining i.e., on 02.06.2014, with all retrospective and consequential benefits. However, the said representation has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition.

4. Mr.N.Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.11.2020, will be considered by the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law.

5. Considering the above said submissions, this Court directs the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.11.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
