Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 and 3, to consider for the payment of the compensation amount pertaining to the acquired lands bearing Survey Nos.553/2A and 2A2 etc., totally to an extent of 93 cents in Karungalakudi Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, originally belonged to one R.Alagppan Chettiar, pursuant to the award dated 19.04.1989 passed in L.A.O.P.No.165 of 1984, on the file of the I Additional Subordinate Judge, Madurai, as confirmed by the judgment dated 24.04.2001 passed in A.S.No.1158 of 1990, on the file of this Court, subject to the modification relating to the payment of interest and solatium by considering the representation dated 04.06.2019 made through the counsel for the petitioner to the respondents 2 and 3.

ORDER

Today, when the matter is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents filed a calculation working sheet for enhanced compensation awarded by the learned I Additional Subordinate Judge, Madurai, in L.A.O.P.No.165 of 1984.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the working sheet for enhancement of compensation filed by the respondent is agreeable and make a request before this Court that the respondent shall disburse the amount mentioned in the working sheet.

3.According to the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that as per working sheet, the respondent has to pay the compensation amount of Rs.1,36,822/- to the petitioner.

4.Recording the aforesaid statements made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent shall disburse a sum of Rs.1,36,822/- to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The copy of the calculation sheet filed by the respondents is taken on file and the same shall be part of this order.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS) // True Copy // / /2020 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) das ENCL.: XEROX COPY OF CALCULATION SHEET.
