O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the impugned order dated 25.08.2019 of the third respondent and to quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal on 01.09.2019 in the eve of Vinayakar Chathurthi Vizha of Arulmighu Vallaba Vinayagar Temple at Pasipattinam, Ramanathapuram District.

2. Heard both sides.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal on 01.09.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 24.08.2019 to the third respondent and the said request was rejected by the third respondent on the ground that there is a likelihood of law and order problem. Challenging the said order, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
4. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that now the respondent police is willing to consider the request of the petitioner.
5. In the above circumstances, since the third respondent police is willing to consider the request of the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the third respondent. On making such representation, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
