O R D E R

The learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition. He has also circulated a letter dated 07.11.2016 to the Registry, wherein it has been stated as follows:

"The WP(MD)No.7073 of 2016 was filed by Thiru P.Gopalakrishnan, praying a direction to the Director of Rural Development and Rural Administration, Chennai to send proposals for inclusion of his name in the approved list of Joint Director of Rural Development in the year 2009-2010. The Director of Rural Development and Rural Administration, Chennai has filed counter affidavit stating that the proposals were sent to Government vide No.5435/10/GE1.1, dated 06.09.2016. Hence the prayer made in the writ petition has been complied with. The petitioner has no objection for withdrawal.

I therefore, request that WP(MD)No.7073 of 2016 may kindly be ordered to be listed for withdrawal and thus obliged ."
