Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent/Tahsildar, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District to consider the representation letter of the petitioner dated 05.08.2019 by fixing time limit.

ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent/Tahsildar, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District to consider the representation letter of the petitioner, dated 05.08.2019 within a time.

2.Heard Mr.S.Vijayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.In order to get patta at Door No.3/47, Survey No.32A/8, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondent on 05.08.2019, along with the said representation, it is claimed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, the petitioner has produced a copy of the house tax receipt, electricity receipt and house site patta issued to the similarly placed person and based on those documents, he wants to dispose of the said representation, dated 05.08.2019 at the hands of the respondent, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 5.I have heard Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner, dated 05.08.2019 would be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.18929 of 2019 decided by the respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 6.I have considered the said submissions made by both sides. Since the prayer sought for herein is innocuous in nature, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:- "that the respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.08.2019 and pass final order thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, in case such need arises, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

7.With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
