ORDER

Owing to the inaction on the part of the respondents in disbursing the family pension of late Kadar Mohideen, who is the erstwhile employee of the Agricultural Department, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent submitted that the application for grant of family pension requires to be made in Form 14 of Tamil 2/5

Nadu Pensionary Rules, 1978 and if such application is received by them from the concerned Department, they will process the same positively, within a month's time.

3. Accordingly, the petitioner is granted liberty to make an appropriate application under Form - 14, along with supporting documents to the fifth respondent herein as expeditiously as possible and on receipt of such an application, the fifth respondent herein shall forward the same to the first respondent herein, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the application from the petitioner. The first respondent, in turn, shall pass necessary orders, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of the fifth respondent's proposal.
