ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.

2.The petitioner is a resident of Sikkathambur Village. He alleges that in S.F.No.3/5 which has been classified as "Vaari" there are encroachments. He wants them to be removed.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the enquiry conducted by them reveals that the petitioner's allegations are true. They 2/4

further undertake to clear the encroachment by adhering to due process of law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This Writ Petition is allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
