Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey the petitioner's land in Survey No.136/1A1A, situated at Uthappanayakkanur Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, and to fix its boundaries based on petitioner's application, dated 03.05.2025, in Petition No.2025/0123/24/015055.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents to survey his land in Survey No.136/1A1A, situated at Uthappanayakkanur Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, by considering his application, dated 03.05.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property along with one Muthulakshmi on 13.03.2025 and patta for the subject property stands in his name and other co-owners in Patta No.5542. He submitted an online application on 03.05.2025 in Application No. 2025/0123/24/015055, seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.

3. Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the online

application of the petitioner, dated 03.05.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to petitioner, co-pattadars, neighbouring land owners, and other interested parties.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. 07.07.2025 NCC :
