O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 4 and 5 not to interfere in the civil dispute by way of conducting the Katta Panchayath in respect of the subject matter of the suit pending in O.S.No.60 of 2016 on the file of the learned District Munsif Court, Sivakasi and further direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the respondent Nos.4 and 5 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 22.03.2016.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. It is the allegation of the petitioner that he is being harassed by the respondents 4 and 5 in respect of a civil dispute.

4. Without going into the merits of the allegations, this Court directs the respondents not to harass the petitioner during enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
