Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the Respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's daughter namely Shobika, daughter of P.Kannan, aged about 17 years, before this Court and hand over her to the petitioner forthwith. (Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.) Alleging that the petitioner's daughter, by name, Shobika, a minor, on the verge of attaining majority, has got married to one Jeyapandi and left the petitioner's house, based on a complaint given by the Social Welfare Officer, a crime has been registered and the petitioner also sought to be implicated in this case. Subsequently, she came to know that the detenue has been taken by the respondent police and kept her in the 3rd respondent home. H.C.P.(MD) No.1527 of 2021 2.Today, the detenue has been produced before this Court and submitted that she, on her own, married her own uncle's son, without the knowledge of her parents and other relatives. Now, she wants to go with the petitioner.

3.Considering those circumstances, now the detenue wants to go with the her parents, this Habeas Corpus Petition is ordered and the petitioner is permitted to go with her parents.
