ORDER
The present petition has been filed by the sole accused in crime No.14 of 2026, on the file of the first respondent police seeking to quash the FIR wherein he is charged with the offences under Section 318(4) of BNS, 2023.
2. Pending investigation, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the defacto complainant had agreed for quashing of the FIR.
3. Today, the defacto complainant and the victim are present in-person and they acknowledge the fact that they had agreed for quashing of the F.I.R.
4. Considering the above said facts, F.I.R. in crime No.14 of 2026, on the file of the first respondent police is hereby quashed.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The joint compromise memo shall form part and parcel of the order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 19.06.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR Note:- Issue order copy on 22.06.2026 2/4
