Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to give necessary police protection to the petitioner on 14.04.2016 to worship in the Shree Karuppasamy Temple and her father tomb situated in S.No.46/2B at Muthaiyapuram, Tuticorin District by considering the representation dated 04.04.2016.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give necessary police protection to the petitioner on 14.04.2016 to worship in the Shree Karuppasamy Temple and her father tomb situated in S.No.46/2B at Muthaiyapuram, Tuticorin District by considering the representation dated 04.04.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. It is seen that this petitioner has given a representation dated 04.04.2016 seeking police protection to worship in the Sri Karuppasamy Temple and his father's tomb in Muthiahpuram. The respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation dated 04.04.2016 by calling the opposite party, namely, A.Karuppasamy, the third respondent and take action in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
