This petition has been filed by the petitioners to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.171 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent police, Thiruvegampet Police Station, Sivagangai District. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that, after completing investigation the respondent police has filed charge sheet and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No.1018 of 2022, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Devakottai and the said case was posted for appearance of the accused. The statement is recorded.
