PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, directing the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.275 of 2017 dated 17.05.2017 pending on the file of the respondent Police within a time frame as fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Ms.L.Juliet Caroline For Respondent : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (Criminal Side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.275 of 2017.

According to learned counsel for the petitioner, on a complaint given by the defacto complainant, a case has been registered in Crime No.275 of 2017 on the file of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 324, 355, 506 (2) and 420 of I.P.C. It is submitted that, subsequently, there is no progress in the investigation, and thereby, sought for suitable directions.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand, submits that, the respondent Police have completed the investigation and they have served the copy of the final report to the defacto complainant on 20.07.2023 and further submitted that they are going to submit the final report before the concerned Court.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also confirmed that the petitioner has received RCS notice.

5. Considering the same, once investigation has already been completed, no further directions can be given to the respondent Police for expediting the investigation.

6. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
