PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying this Court to issue a direction, directing the first respondent to withdraw the case in Crime No.237 of 2021, pending before the third respondent and entrust the same to any other officer not below the rank of the Deputy Superintendent of Police for investigation based on the petitioner's representation, dated 30.09.2021 by this Court.

ORDER

The criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to withdraw the case in Crime No.237 of 2021, pending before the third respondent and entrust the same to any other officer not below the rank of the Deputy Superintendent of Police for investigation, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 30.09.2021. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Crl.O.P.(MD) No.15487 of 2021 respondent police completed the investigation and closed the same on 13.07.2021, as 'action dropped'. RCS notice has also been served on the petitioner.

3.Therefore, the prayer sought for in this criminal original petition has become infructuous and the same is dismissed as infructuous.
