Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to complete the enquiry and pass final orders on the petitioner's application, dated 26.02.2016 under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act 1983 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent Nos.1 and 2.
2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. It is stated by the petitioner that originally patta was issued in his name in respect of some properties situated at Vaadiyur Village, Veerakeralampudur Taluk, Tirunelveli, which belongs to him and now his name was deleted and patta was issued in the name of the respondents 3 to 5. Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation to the Tahsildar under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, 1983 for correction of entries on 26.02.2016. Hence, the petitioner seeks direction from this Court for the early disposal of his representation at the earliest.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in this Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.02.2016 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties including the respondents 3 to 5, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
