ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working as Advocate clerk and the second respondent is harassing him to give information about his client for whom, the Advocate under whom this petitioner is working. The accused concerned was already released on bail and seeking about that person, harassment has been made.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that petitioner is having three previous cases and History sheet is opened against him in H.S.No.667 of 2021, on the file of the Thanjavur Taluk Police Station. Only for the purpose of making surveillance and monitor the movement of the petitioner, enquiry is undertaken and except that there is no harassment at the hands of the second respondent.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15485 of 2021 4.However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that so far no such information is available or given to him about the opening of the History sheet.

5.The petitioner can get the copy of the History sheet maintained against him from the Additional Public Prosecutor Office. Since the petitioner is involved in number of previous cases and also history sheet is maintained, it is the duty of the respondent police to monitor the petitioner under watch and the same cannot be construed as harassment. He can challenge the History sheet as per law.

6.In view of the above, this petition deserves to be dismissed and accordingly dismissed.
