JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard both sides.

2. The appellant herein filed W.P.(MD)No.16069 of 2025 to direct the respondent authorities to ensure that he has access to Trichy-Illuppur main road. The case of the appellant is that on account of the constructions that are now coming up, the appellant's land will be completely land-locked. The learned single Judge vide order dated 16.06.2025 closed the writ petition by calling upon the appellant to move the jurisdictional civil Court to establish his easementary right of access. Aggrieved by the same, this writ appeal has been filed.

3. When the writ appeal was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate on written instructions from the revenue 2/4

authorities submitted that the appellant is very much having a pathway ie., 3.3 meters wide and that he can very well access Iluppur to Trichy road through the said pathway.

4. Recording the said stand of the learned Government Advocate, this writ appeal is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
