Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land measuring 6540 Sq.feet i.e. Northern 15 Cents out of Western 50 Cents in Resurvey No.112/5B, Patta No.1255 situated at Sakkarakottai Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapurm District and demarcate the same by laying survey stone after giving opportunity to the neighbours and all the party concerned by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.11.2015 within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court. The prayer in the writ petition is for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land measuring 6540 Sq.feet i.e. Northern 15 Cents out of Western 50 Cents in Resurvey No.112/5B, Patta No.1255 situated at Sakkarakottai Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapurm District and demarcate the same by laying survey stone after giving an opportunity to the neighbours and all the party concerned, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 12.11.2015.

2. The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property in Resurvey No.112/5B measuring an extent of 6540 Sq.ft. i.e. Northern 15 Cents out of Western 50 Cents situated at Sakkarakottai Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapurm District. He has given a representation dated 12.11.2015 to the second respondent, the Tahsildar, Ramanathapruam District, Ramanathapuram, to measure his land and he has also paid https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

necessary fees for the same. But, so far no action has been taken by the second respondent and hence, he has filed the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to measure the property of the petitioner in Resurvey No.112/5B to an extent of 6540 Sq.ft. i.e. Northern 15 Cents out of Western 50 Cents situated at Sakkarakottai Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapurm District, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the neighbouring land owners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
