PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the first and second respondents to give adequate protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2020. For Petitioner : Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian For Respondents : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi No.1 & 2 Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first and second respondents to give adequate protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2020.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner lodged a complaint, dated 07.02.2020 seeking for police protection and it is pending on the file of the second respondent for enquiry.

3. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the third respondent and dispose of the same, after affording an opportunity of hearing to them and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
