PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, directing respondent Nos.1 and 2 herein to provide Police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of his representation dated 14.06.2023.

O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed by the petitioner for providing adequate Police protection on the representation given by him dated 14.06.2022.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has agreed to sell his immovable properties for a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty Lakhs only) to respondent No.3, of which, he has taken Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only) as an advance. Respondent No.3, having not paid the balance amount of Rs.27,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Seven Lakhs), has been threatening the petitioner to register the sale deed. It is submitted that on 13.06.2023 at about 9.30 P.M., the third respondent and his followers threatened the petitioner and his family members to execute to register the sale deed, on which, the petitioner has filed a complaint before the respondent Police dated 14.06.2023, but, no action is taken, thereby, sought for suitable directions.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand, submits that, during the course of enquiry, the respondent 2/4
Police have warned respondent No.3 seriously and advised him to approach the Civil Court, if there are any disputes and the third respondent has also given an undertaking, accordingly.
4. The complaint filed by the petitioner was closed. Since the complaint given by the petitioner has been closed and since respondent No.3 has given undertaking to the Police that he will not interfere or threaten the petitioner, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition and accordingly, the same stands closed. In case, if the petitioner feels that respondent No.3 again threatens, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondent Police for appropriate action. 24.07.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No tsg 3/4
