O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the learned District Magistrate cum Judicial Magistrate No.I, Usilampatti, to dispose of C.C.No.316 of 2022, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that on a complaint given by the wife of the first petitioner, the respondent Police have filed a case in C.C.No.316 of 2022, on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate No.I, Usilampatti, which was taken cognizance for the offences punishable under Sections 498 (A) and 406 of I.P.C.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that there are about eight witnesses to be examined and the prosecution will produce the witnesses as directed by the learned Magistrate.
4. Considering the circumstances, the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate No.I, Usilampatti, is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.316 of 2022, as expeditiously as possible not later 2/4
than eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The prosecution is also directed to co-operate with the trial.
5. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
