O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 02.10.2021, wherein, the petitioner has sought for mutation of the revenue records with respect to the subject property and for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first and second respondents submitted that the representation made by the petitioner is under consideration and that already a notice has been issued to the petitioner and respondent Nos.3 to 7 to conduct an enquiry. The learned Special Government Pleader therefore submitted that some time frame can be fixed by this Court to enable the second respondent to pass final orders. 2/4

In the light of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, it will suffice, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to proceed further with the enquiry after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and respondent Nos.3 to 7 and pass final orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
