Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to receive the document of General Power of Attorney presented by the petitioner dated 06.04.2016 in favour of one Mariyappan, son of Vellapandi in respect of the land in survey No. 513/2H1A1 for the extent of 59 cents in total extent of 2 acres 0.5 cents and register the same in accordance with law.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to receive the document of General Power of Attorney presented by the petitioner, dated 06.04.2016 in favour of one Mariyappan, son of Vellapandi in respect of the land in survey No. 513/2H1A1 for the extent of 59 cents in total extent of 2 acres 0.5 cents and register the same. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the property in Sy.No.513/2H1A1 for the extent of 59 cents in total extent of 2 acres 0.5 cents. Now, he executed a power of attorney in favour of one Mariappan and presented the same before the respondent and the respondent refused to receive the document and register the same. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner presented only the power of attorney without any other supporting documents to enabling him to register the same. He further submitted that unless the document required by the respondent is produced, it is difficult to register the document.

4.By way of reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that now, the petitioner is ready to produce all the required documents before the respondent/Sub-Registrar. 5.In view of the above submissions made, this writ petition is disposed of. The petitioner is directed to produce all the required documents before the respondent/Sub-Registrar. On receipt of such documents, the respondent is directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
