ORDER

The petitioner, with a grievance that his application for survey of land has not been considered by the official respondents, has filed this writ petition.

2.Learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that based on the application of the petitioner, the Surveyor has visited the place on 11.04.2023 and at that time, the fourth respondent has raised certain objections. Therefore, the survey could not be conducted. He further submitted that the Department is intending to proceed as per Section 10(1) of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act. 2/4

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to proceed further as per Section 10(1) of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, by issuing notice to the objectors and to take a decision thereon, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Index :
