Respondents PRAYER :- This Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, to direct the respondents No.1 to 3 to give police protection for their life and limb of the petitioner and his group at the time of conducting renovation work in the Pudukulam Tank situated in Survey Nos.839/1 839/2 856/1 857 858/12 858/19A, 858/19C, 859/2 and 867/5 to an extent of 59 acres and 92 cents situated at Puththoor Revenue Village, Meenatchipuram, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District in the light of the order passed by the Principal District Munsif, Srivilliputhur, in O.S.No. 231/1986 dated 24.07.1989.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks police protection to him and his group at the time of conducting renovation work.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. It is represented that Second Appeal in S.A.(MD)No.1238 of 2001 is pending between the parties. Already both parties have agreed before the respondent police that they will abide by the decision in the said Second Appeal and the matter has since been closed.

4. Therefore, preserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the police as per the final orders that may be passed in the second appeal, this Petition stands closed.
