2. Heard Mr.V.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and carefully perused the materials placed on record.

3. The petitioner - Bank is a Nationalized Bank and seeks for a direction upon the District Collector, Virudhunagar District / first respondent to pass orders on the petition filed by them under Section 14 of SARFAESI Act.
4. Earlier similar writ petitions were heard by this Bench and a common order has been passed with a direction to circulate the order to all the District Magistrates in the State. In the said order, a further direction has been issued to the District Magistrate to pass orders on the petition filed under Section 14 of SARFAESI Act within a reasonable time. It is not known as to why the petition filed by the petitioner - Bank on 21.01.2015, is still kept pending by the first respondent.
5. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner - Bank, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petition filed by the petitioner - Bank and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
