ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the first respondent to take necessary action towards the petitioners representation dated 23.05.2022, which was lodged against the second respondent.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 23.05.2022.

3.The learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent objected the allegation raised against the second respondent and stated that the allegations are false.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that several cases have been registered against the petitioner and the same are pending. The second respondent is working in some other police station and not in that particular police station as stated by the petitioner. Under these circumstances, the allegations are false.

5.Admittedly, the petitioner and the second respondent are relatives and the second respondent was married to the petitioner and there is a dispute between the petitioner and his wife and several cases are pending against the petitioner. According to the petitioner, the second respondent being a police official in the Police Department, threatening the petitioner and demanding the money. Hence, the petitioner seeks to conduct enquiry by the Superintendent of Police/first respondent.

6.Therefore, the first respondent is directed to consider and enquire the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.05.2022 and take suitable action. If the allegations stated by the petitioner are false, register a case against the petitioner under Section 182 IPC and prosecute the petitioner in accordance with law.

7.With the above direction, this writ petitions stands disposed of. No costs.
