ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus thereby directing the respondents to take necessary action on the Petitioner's complaint, trace and recover the stolen Apple i-phone 13 Pro bearing IMEI No.353501495885659 and return the same to the petitioner within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had sent a representation seeking to trace and recover his cell phone which was missed. However, no proper action was taken, and therefore, this petition was filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that CSR No. 145/2026 dated 04.06.2026 was issued and enquiry is pending on the petitioner's complaint.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the third respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2026 and conduct an enquiry in this regard, after issuing summons to the parties concerned, under Section 64 of the BNSS, and conclude the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
