Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to appoint the petitioner as Village Assistant in Respondent NO.4 office under Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar) reservation, consequently, to direct the respondent No.1 to take appropriate action against the respondent Nos.4 and 5 on the basis of his representation dated 24.03.2016 in accordance with law within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, an order came to passed by the respondents rejecting the claim of the petitioner.

2. In such view of the matter, the petitioner seeks liberty to challenge the same.

3. Granting such liberty to the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
