O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to intervene in the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the respondent No.3.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there are civil disputes between the petitioner and the respondent No.3, on which the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent No.2/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatti and after enquiry, the said petition has been disposed of by passing orders against the interest of the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner has filed W.P.(MD) No.8513 of 2022, which is pending on the file of this Court. The petitioner further submits that he is proceeding to resolve the dispute with the respondent No.3 by approaching the civil Court or any competent forum, but on a complaint of the respondent No.3, the respondent police are interfering in the civil dispute.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that basing on the complaint given by the respondent No.3, an enquiry was initiated and after 2/5

conclusion of the enquiry, the representation of the respondent No.3 was closed on 14.06.2023 and subsequently, the respondent police never called the petitioner. 4.Since the representation stated to have been given by the respondent No.3 has already been closed, cause does not survive. Accordingly, this Petition is closed. It is needless to state that since the dispute between the petitioner and the respondent No.3 is purely civil in nature, in case if any complaint is received from the petitioner in respect of civil dispute, let the police direct both the parties to approach the appropriate civil Court for redressal of their grievances.
