Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider his request dated 25.1.2016 and 29.1.2016 and consequently direct the respondents to post him as a Panchayat Secretary at Andipatti Union Theni District on the basis of recommendation dated 22.11.2015 made by the Block Development Officer Theni Union. For Petitioner : Mr.N.Satheeshkumar For Respondents : Mr.S.Sadeskumar Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider his requests dated 25.1.2016 and 29.1.2016 and consequently direct the respondents to post him as a Panchayat Secretary at Andipatti Union, Theni District on the basis of recommendation dated 22.11.2015 made by the Block Development Officer, Theni Union. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr.S.Sadeskumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he has submitted representation dated 25.01.2016 to the respondents based on the recommendation of the Block Development Officer dated 22.11.2015 to allow him to join at Srirangapuram Panchayat. Since no order has been passed, the petitioner has come up with the above writ petition.

4.Considering the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
