The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 29.01.2016 for the grant of spare mini bus permit.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr.T.R.Janarthanam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3.According to the petitioner, he has submitted application an dated 29.01.2016 to the respondent seeking for the grant of spare mini bus permit which is still pending. 4.Considering the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 29.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
