O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai to dispose of the case in C.C.No.470 of 2014 registered in Crime No.316 of 2013 for alleged offences U/s.279, 304 (A) of I.P.C. as expeditiously as possible and within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The petitioner is the sole accused in the above said crime number, which has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 279, 204(A) of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after a lapse of seven years, there is no progress and the matter is kept pending.

3.Considering the oldness of the crime and as well as the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No15635 of 2021 Magistrate, Pattukottai to expedite the trial in C.C.No.470 of 2014 on his file and dispose of the same on merits, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After disposing of the same on merits, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.

4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
