O R D E R

This Contempt petition is filed to punish the Contemnors/ Respondents 2 and 3 for the deliberate and wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD) No.14178 of 2025 dated 14.05.2025.

2. When the matter was listed for admission, the Learned Government Advocate appearing for the contemnors submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner, namely Neelamegam, was originally received by the Superintendent of Police. It was then forwarded for enquiry to the Inspector of Police, R.S. Mangalam Police Station, as a current paper in C.No.G3/9711/718/25 dated 22.04.2025, C.No.21/SP-Gri/DSPS/2025 dated 05.06.2025 and the same was taken up for enquiry.

3. The Learned Government Advocate produced entire enquiry file relating to current paper and reveals that petitioner appeared on 13.05.2025 before the Inspector of Police, Ramanathapuram Town Police Station and participated in the enquiry held on 24.06.2025 and had not produced any documents in his support. Subsequently after the order of this Court dated 14.05.2025 matter was enquired by R.S.Mangalam Police station. The petitioner

and the 2nd respondent had enquired other counter parties and after collecting various documents it had been closed.

4. The records further revealed that various documents were taken into account, including a document submitted by the tractor dealer and an agreement entered between the parties. It has also been recorded that the petitioner did not participate in the enquiry, proceedings after 24.06.2025 and summons dated 30.06.2025 was also sent and the same was returned as refused to receive.

5. The petitioner has also admitted that he received summons from the R.S. Mangalam Police Station, appeared accordingly on 24.06.2025 and sought some time to submit documents and subsequently not submitted any documents.

6. Considering the above, I am of the view that no contempt is made out and the direction issued by this Court has been complied with.

7. Accordingly, this Contempt petition is closed. 30.07.2025 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes KSA
