O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I (Fast Track Court at Magistrate Level), Madurai to conduct the trial and dispose the S.T.C.No.217 of 2018 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the case has been registered in the year 2018 under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, it is kept pending without any progress. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the guise of settling the issue, the respondent is dragging the matter needlessly. 'B' diary has also been produced. 3.Considering the nature of the complaint, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, (Fast Track Court at Magistrate Level), Madurai, to expedite the trial process in STC.No.217 of 2018 pending on his file and dispose of the same on merits within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After disposing the same, compliance report must be sent to the Registry.
