The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner, which was taken on file in Na.Ka.A.4387/2024, on the file of the respondent. 1/4

2.Mr.D.S.Neduchezian, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is the case of the petitioner that 2 acres 60 cents of the land situate in S.No.118/5A and 6A in Kanjirankudi Village, Keelakarai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District was acquired for providing free house sites to persons belonging to Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes Community. The petitioner's wife was one of the beneficiaries of the Government scheme and plot No.50 was assigned to her. Some of the acquired land was reserved for future purpose. Now, the Special Tahsildar (Adidravidar Welfare) of the district issued free house site patta in favour of fifteen persons named in the representation of the petitioner by utilising the land reserved for future purpose. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted an application on 10.05.2024 seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of fifteen persons. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 2/4

4.The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits.

5.In the view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 10.05.2024, which is already taken on file in Na.Ka.No. A.4387/2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and fifteen beneficiaries named in the representation of the petitioner.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
